This is for one spool of Fil Au Chinois Waxed Gloving Thread in Black 180.

I have an assortment of 6 colours neutral tones Fil Au Chinois gloving thread: 120 (grey), 130 (mouse), 180 (black), 190 (slate), 302 (linen) and 312 (ecru).

Gloving thread is a waxed cotton, n°120, both fine and solid. As the name states, it was used in the past for sewing and repairing gloves. Uses have changed, but the name remains the same.

Nowadays, gloving thread is used for patchwork and appliqué hand stitching. Gloving Thread can also be used for very fine cross stitch. It is quite stiff, making it pleasant to use.

100% cotton waxed thread.

Length on each spool: 150m.
Diameter of this thread: 0.22mm.
Presented on ivory coloured plastic spools.
Size of spool: Ø 2.5cm – length 4.8cm.
