Five familiar scenes of picturesque Bailey Island, Maine, as imagined by local illustrator, Kal Betts. Bailey Island is a small fishing community on the coast of Maine and a beloved travel destination in the summer. The five scenes depicted are the iconic and historic Cribstone Bridge (the only one in the world like it), Mackerel Cove (working waterfront) , “The Nubble” (a fishing shack made famous by how often it appears on post cards), the Giant’s Stairs (a natural rock formation on the east side of the island, a popular spot to visit on a trail walk along the ledges), and the Maine Fisherman statue which sits at Land’s End next to the gift shop. In the backdrop of some scenes you will see Half Way Rock (lighthouse) and Mark Island. Each location is featured with it’s latitude and longitude, and filled with lobster boats / traps, sailboats, skiffs, homes, wharfs, buoys, flowers, and an array of local wildlife (fish, seals, birds, squirrels, chipmunks, etc).

Printed on card stock, these pieces are great for framing as black and white fine artwork, or after you’ve enjoyed them as a coloring activity.
